Overview

In partnership with CCIS, we have been supporting organizational change at Prospect Human Services since 2021. Our focus has been on providing evidence-based strategic guidance to leadership, Human Resources, and the EDI (Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) Council.

Objectives

  • Embed DEI principles within organizational practices and culture.
  • Conduct an annual DEI assessment survey to gather data and measure progress.
  • Provide strategic support to the DEI Council in developing work plans and tracking progress.

Approach | Strategies

  • Conducted an annual staff climate survey to assess DEI perceptions and experiences.
  • Reviewed communications and marketing literature to ensure alignment with DEI principles.
  • Provided diversity training to HR and hiring managers.
  • Tracked activities and progress, culminating in an annual impact report.

Outcomes | Results

Our continued work with Prospect has strengthened an understanding of DEI among their leadership, HR, and DEI Council members. We have also supported DEI actions with evidence and consultation, and implemented several concrete actions within the organization, with observable impacts reported by staff.
