- Collaborated with primary care networks, non-profits, patient advisors, and community leaders representing the ethnic distribution of the Cargill plant.
- Conducted iterative data collection alongside advisors and community leaders to address issues of mistrust with health systems.
- Worked with diverse partners from immigrant serving agencies, migrant advocacy groups, refugee health providers, academics, and first-language interviewers to identify barriers and strategies for successful vaccinations.
Outcomes | Results
Our research projects provided actionable recommendations for improving vaccination efforts for vulnerable populations, including temporary foreign workers and newcomer refugees. We also identified unique barriers and needs, as well as successful community-led vaccination models.
