UNIVERSITY OF CALGARY: YARI

Overview

The Youth and Anti-Racism Integration (YARI) Collective project, spanning two years from April 2022 to March 2024, aimed to integrate youth and anti-racism initiatives within the context of resettlement for newcomers. We collaborated with the University of Calgary’s Department of Sociology, Calgary Bridge Foundation for Youth, Calgary Catholic Immigration Society, Calgary Immigrant Women’s Association, and Centre for Newcomers.

Our evaluation gathered baseline data, tracked early outcomes, and captured key learnings for both the project team and program staff of the Service Provider Organizations involved in the YARI Collective project.

Their final report is so detailed that it serves as an excellent guide for this type of community-engaged research. Partnering with Habitus Collective was an absolute pleasure and we unreservedly recommend Habitus Collective for all types of evaluation projects.
