Rise Calgary: Taking Taxes Evaluation

Overview

We conducted an evaluation of the Talking Taxes program, a collaborative initiative by Momentum, Rise, and the Siksika First Nation, aimed at providing culturally appropriate tax filing and benefits navigation for Indigenous and First Nations people, with a focus on the Treaty Seven Nations.

Our evaluation aimed to measure the success of the pilot Talking Taxes program and provided feedback for improvements. Additionally, it offered insights that can guide future initiatives or expansions of similar programs.
