Good facilitation and training takes good planning, adaptability of approach, preparation of resources, and deep understanding of the issue and group at hand, not a one size fits all approach. As experienced facilitators and educators, we are prepared to take your group where they need to go, even  if that’s  into uncomfortable conversations. We are available to help you reach your training goals through curriculum development, in person and online teaching, and facilitation.

Needs Assessment and Facilitation Plan

Each facilitation or training is unique. We can build on existing work, or go deep into a new area of inquiry. The training or facilitation plan we develop will reflect the s learning objectives and instructional facilitation methods that work best for the organization.

Creative Development of Facilitation Materials

Our methods are adaptable for online, in person, and blended models, and audience specific, including various intersecting identities, to meet groups where they are at. We provide all training materials, resources, and facilitation guides that can be later edited for diverse audiences and training opportunities.

Adaptable Training and Facilitation Delivery

We often take a co-delivery approach, especially when there are community specific concerns and nuances, delivering with staff or peers who identify with lived/ing experience. If co-delivery is preferred, we also provide training and orientation, so that everyone has a clear understanding of their roles, feels comfortable with the work, and is able to contribute.

Assessing Achievement of Results

We will explore whether results were achieved through pre and post training evaluations and through soliciting ongoing strategic feedback. This enables continuous learning to understand the impact of training and areas for improvement. We map out outcomes of the training, share insights as we go along, and work collaboratively to identify what’s next.
