Evaluation

Customizable evaluation support through a participatory, co-learning approach that helps you tell your story and strengthen your impact.

Our approach to evaluation and learning follows the cycle of good impact practice: Plan, Do, Assess, Review. Through this approach, we continually collect data and integrate what we learn into strategic recommendations for greater impact.

Our

PROCESS - STEPS

01

Plan

Our team has extensive experience in evaluation within nonprofit and community settings – including evaluation planning and framework development, qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods research design, impact and outcome measurement; and organizational and program evaluation.
02

Do

We take on a number of evaluation approaches such as developmental, formative, outcomes, and summative evaluation, using results-based, impact-focused, and principles-based objectives.
03

Assess

We integrate Indigenous, racial, and gender equity lenses to our work, allowing for diverse ways of knowing. This ensures that we approach all our work as listeners, learners, and knowledge co-creators. We aim to avoid extractive methods, focus on truly informed consent, draw on principles of peer research, and engage first language data collectors as appropriate to a given project.
04

Review

Our skills in evaluation strengthen our approach to strategy development by anchoring it to critical consideration of whether and how emerging strategy recommendations can be implemented and measured.

TESTIMONIALS

Habitus Collective, as our evaluation partners, supported our research-based service improvement project every step of the way beginning at the funding proposal stages to research to implementation and the final knowledge dissemination stages.
